Finding … Read More several things faulty,with it along with the thermostat which was broken, he convinced me, not to repair it, but look for a new dryer because he would be making repeated calls to my home to fix the one I was using now.
The sevice technician whose name I do not recall even though we have used him repeatedly is incredibly friendly, a pleasure to talk to, and most importantly just so trustworthy. His rates are more than fair.

We had trouble with our dishwasher just heading into Labor Day weekend. So, while everyone else was closed, we were thrilled to hear back from Inessa who was as friendly, professional and helpful as could be in helping us attempt to diagnose the problem … Read More by phone. After receiving a great and reasonable estimate on our repair, we determined to order a new drain pump - and were assured we wouldn't be charged for it if the part ended up being unnecessary. In the end, it wasn't necessary and they were true to their word.
The technician, Dimitri, came on the day and time scheduled - no runaround like other companies leaving you guessing as to if/when they'll actually show up. Dimitri was immediately considerate of our home - removing his shoes, wearing a mask due to the pandemic. He was 100% transparent about his work, very friendly and willing to help educate us in what he was checking and how to keep our dishwasher running in top form. In the end, a sink garbage disposal that was installed the prior week was the culprit. The drain tubing from the dishwasher runs through the garbage disposal, but the disposal connection for the dishwasher had not been properly opened to allow the water to drain. The dishwasher pump was still operational and was trying to work, but the drain outlet in the garbage disposal was a literal dead end, with nowhere for the water to go.
So, for a very minor repair, Dimitri charged a modest fee for his trip and time assessing and fixing the problem. Though he could have easily installed the new pump we ordered and charged us for it, after thoroughly checking our existing pump, he advised that we not change it out yet. Since our older pump was in good shape and American made, while the newer OEM replacements for our model dishwasher are typically made in China and are sometimes known to fail prematurely.
Could not be happier with the all-around service and pricing. Without a doubt, I will be calling DGi for our next inevitable appliance repair job. If you're reading this, you should too. -

Called DGI when the heater in our
clothes dryer stopped working.

We called DGI to replace a leaking hose on our dishwasher. We called them and they asked for the make & model of our dishwasher. With that info, the lady was able to give us the price of parts & labor right away. They ordered the part and gave us time & date of when the repair person will be coming. The repair guy came today with the part. He looked at the leak and repaired the leak instead of replacing the hose for half the quoted price. If the repair fails, he will come back to replace the hose and just charge us for the remaining half. Who does that these days. I gladly recommend them.
Technician made a temporary fix on my Thermador wall oven by switching igniters, since I needed the oven fixed for the holidays. He came back in 2 days and completed the repair. Very happy with this company and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
